The Process
Coming to therapy is about getting support and relief with issues that leave us feeling overwhelmed, and stressed.
This can be caused by the breakup of a close relationship, a death, relocating countries, career change, illness, or a distressful and traumatic event.
As a Soul Centred Psychotherapist, I work together with you to create a safe and supportive environment for your story to unfold in its own time. Understanding that it’s more than just talking that brings about healing. My orientation is to work with the whole mind body system.
It’s well researched now that our bodies hold and store past traumas and stress.
By attending to the body’s felt senses, as well as the emerging story, you’ll begin to make links between your body sensations, thoughts, feelings and behaviours. This will enable you to make different choices in your life that are better for the whole of who you are now.
You’ll begin to notice that by attending consciously to the inner relationship with yourself, you’re able to respond differently from a place of choice.
